MURDER IN MALIBU

On Friday night, July 15, 1994, a double homicide occurs at the opulent Malibu beach house of screenwriter, John Mallory. Mallory's wife Dianne and actor Derek Ramsey, are making love, when suddenly an unidentified intruder enters the Master bedroom and both are shot to death. An intense police investigation follows, led by Detective Lt. Joe Kellermann and his partner, Tony Rodriguez. The prime suspects include John Mallory, who has no substantial alibi for his whereabouts on the night of the murders, Nick Palermo, a suspected hit-man, with Vegas Mob connections, and Cheryl Hunter, Ramsey's ex-lover, who was dumped a week before their proposed wedding date. The detectives find themselves entangled in a baffling case of lies, infidelity, greed, blackmail...and murder-for-hire...
