Albedo Zero: The Highway to Mars

A large black body is on a collision course with Earth, and scientists believe the planet will be destroyed in 30 days. Sirius, a spaceship designer, is not convinced the asteroid will destroy Earth, and he sets out to prove it by flying one of his spaceships into deep space to release a probe and determine the true composition of the asteroid.
