In an unknown corner of a raging ocean, the Black Lighthouse stands tall like a giant tombstone. A place erased from maps, it's where the "living dead"—politicians, generals, and murderers—whose deaths have been declared by governments, are sent to the world, yet they still breathe in the cold cells, awaiting their true end.

Adam al-Warraq, a broken writer stripped of his memory, works as a "documenter" in this hell. His sole task: to record the inmates' final confessions in the "Book of Shadows" before they are "extinguished" forever.

But when the stone walls begin to whisper, and the ink drops turn to blood, Adam discovers that the lighthouse is not just a prison. It's a living biological machine, hungry for memories, and designed for a purpose more terrifying than death itself: digital immortality.

From the frozen cellars of Siberia to the suffocating Amazon rainforest and the scorching sands of the Sahara, Adam finds himself in a race against the Council, which rules the world from the shadows. Adam is no longer just a witness; he has become the virus that must destroy the system from within.
