Grieving for Troubled People

Grieving for troubled people was written by Lewis Even Jones for the purpose of helping people who struggle with life issues. I found when working with people who were incarcerated that issues were a flashing neon light. Its something that just can't be ignored. The setting was working in jails and prisons. Here are some of the subject matters that is covered in the book identification of grieving issues, stuffing emotions or pushing them aside, fellowship with the right people, Abuse and trauma, forgiveness, death, loss of life, divorce, multiple relationships, suicide, sustaining grief, and salvation. The setting those who are in recovery from drugs and alcohol and incarceration. The problem is that people refuse to admit they have issues and tend to stuff their emotions or push them aside. What this does is stuffing emotions causes distress and anxiety. Its like a pressure cooker with no relief valve it's going to explode. Pushing problems aside just makes them come back again doesn't really solve anything. What this book does is resolve the questions people may have with major issues that we have in life. It brings resolution and brings stability to the table. People have to be open to what God says are the solution to their problems in life. The subject that has the greatest effect in the book are multiple relationships. The reason for this I find that people have gotten away from marriage. And many think they can get away with no commitment with one another in relationship wi9th one another. No commitment, no strings attached, just live together living in sin with no problems. This is a lie; I see as many as 5 to 6 partners with massive grief issues stacked on top of each other. Kids with no stability between with no father present most of the time it is a hot mess. The solution is a personal relationship with Jesus. If we let God do the work, he can heal the brokenhearted and bind up their wounds. He did it for me He can do it for you. The question is what's holding you back is it time to raise the white flag and let Jesus take over? It's a good thing to do.
