No matter how desperately the young constellation Astraea resists, her eyes and heart are drawn to the forbidden planet: Earth.

Though she is surrounded by the dazzling display of the Firmament, the magical realm where the constellations live, the small planet beckons her.

When The Hunter, the man she’s been secretly observing, and, impossibly, a girl on the opposite side of Earth named Pilar, both unlock ancient celestial magic, it triggers a series of visions in Astraea and a group of other constellations. Visions that show constellations and humans interacting on Earth – a dream come true for Astraea – but her friends fear severe punishment if their leader discovers their involvement.

Drawn into a dangerous investigation, Astraea must uncover the truth before natural disasters spell the extinction of humanity. But can she convince the other constellations the humans are worth saving before Earth is destroyed and The Hunter – the man she loves, but can never have – is gone forever?
