My Four Dogs plus One

This book is about the four dogs that I have owned plus another one who lived next door to me. It is a book about their lives and how they interacted with me. It is not a book about dog training although I hope you will be able to pick up some useful tips on how to treat, or more importantly how not to treat your dog if you have one.
It's not a training manual but rather a light hearted read for those of you who love dogs, especially German Shepherd Dogs. There are also suggestions for further reading about the breed.
Presumably you are only interested in reading this book because you like dogs. If you already have a dog or are thinking of getting one, I would like you to remember that there are no bad dogs, only bad owners. You will not get your dog to behave if you mistreat it. All dogs should be trained using kindness. Harsh words and the occasional beating should be reserved for naughty children!
