Hacked: A Hong Kong Story

This short story was inspired in part by a slide presentation by Jill Robinson, of Animals Asia, showing distressing photographs of cats and dogs being unloaded in crates in China.
It was described by The Asia Review of Books as 'graphic and compelling' when an earlier version was published in Hotel China (HK Writer's Association), Hacked will make you think twice about China's animal consumption policies and how quickly contagions can spread from China to Hong Kong to around the world.
