What do you do when you wake up as the only person left in the world?

When a 12 year old boy wakes up alone in his basement with the world outside turned to ruin, he knows there is only one place he can go. He must brave the wasteland to find his father.

Yet he soon finds that this new world is nothing like the ones he's read about in his sci-fi stories, and his big adventure turns out to be entirely different than he expects. The simple journey turns into a nightmare of danger lurking behind every corner. The truth about his father may be more devastating than he is ready to face.

But is leaving his home really the best choice, or is he better off staying where he is?
