Adalaine needs a lifeline. She's drowning in her life at Starbound Academy and has no way of fixing it. When Adalaine is invited to a party with her peers, she jumps at the chance, thinking this is her opportunity to fit in. Only instead of going well like she'd hoped, everything goes horribly wrong. The only thing that gets her through the worst night of her life is meeting a friend in an unexpected place--the cemetery. What does it matter if he only has half a face?
