Did Ray’s friend lead a double life—or did her murderer kill the wrong person?

Things have been looking up for gift shop owner Ray Watson. Summer was successful, his thriftiness has paid off, his grandson might be paroled soon, and most of all, his wife is the healthiest she’s been in over a decade, thanks to her nurse Melissa.

But on the last day of Dusky Cove’s tourist season, Melissa is murdered. As they try to figure out who could have done this to their friend, Ray and Katie discover more and more secrets in Melissa’s life.

Worst of all, it looks like their friend and confidant was leading a double life. As one final tribute to Melissa, he has to clear her name. But could the accusations be true? Is that why she was murdered?
